Paid members
Every owner, admin, member, and other paid role uses a subscription seat. Adding users during a billing cycle can create prorated charges.
Guest-seat overages
Paid plans include permission-controlled guest seats. If you exceed the allowance, ClickUp automatically adds another paid member seat.

Brain AI and Everything AI are Workspace add-ons charged for all paid seats, not only the people who use AI most often.
Advanced features and limits

How ClickUp Guest Pricing Works
On paid plans, view-only guests are free and unlimited. Permission-controlled guests can comment or edit selected content and use an included guest allowance tied to paid member seats.
- Unlimited: 5 guest seats for the first paid member, then 2 more per additional paid member
- Business and Enterprise: 10 guest seats for the first paid member, then 5 more per additional paid member
- Exceeding the allowance creates an additional paid member seat
- People using your organization’s email domain generally cannot be treated as external guests

Brain AI
$9 per paid seat per month with annual billing or $14 with monthly billing on classic plans. Includes 1,500 AI Super Credits per user each month.
Everything AI
$28 per paid seat per month with annual billing or $33 with monthly billing on classic plans. Includes broader agentic features and 5,000 AI Super Credits per user each month.
Additional AI credits
Extra AI Super Credits are publicly listed at $0.001 per credit and are sold in $10 increments. They are not included in the calculator total.

How much is ClickUp for five users?
For five paid users on classic plans, Unlimited costs $35 per month equivalent ($420 for a year) or $50 with monthly billing. Business costs $60 per month equivalent or $95 monthly. AI and guest overages can increase these totals. A small team can use Free Forever if its storage and usage fit the free limits.
Is ClickUp Free Forever really free?
Yes. Free Forever supports unlimited members and tasks, but it includes only 60 MB of file storage and limits several advanced features and usage allowances.
Do ClickUp guests cost extra?
View-only guests are free and unlimited on paid plans. Permission-controlled guests use an included allowance. When that allowance is exceeded, ClickUp adds a paid member seat.
Does ClickUp AI cost extra?
On classic paid plans, Brain AI adds $9 per paid seat per month billed annually or $14 monthly; Everything AI adds $28 or $33 respectively. The add-on applies across paid seats. New plan packages include AI with different allowances; do not add classic AI rates to those packages.
Is annual ClickUp billing cheaper?
