ClickUp pricing is not determined only by the advertised per-user rate. Your required plan, billing cycle, guest permissions, AI package, and feature usage can all change the final amount.

Paid members
Every owner, admin, member, and other paid role uses a subscription seat. Adding users during a billing cycle can create prorated charges.
Guest-seat overages
Paid plans include permission-controlled guest seats. If you exceed the allowance, ClickUp automatically adds another paid member seat.
ClickUp AI
Brain AI and Everything AI are Workspace add-ons charged for all paid member seats, not only the people who use AI most often.
Advanced features and limits
Storage, dashboards, workload tools, automation volume, advanced time tracking, SSO, and governance can require a higher plan.
How ClickUp Guest Pricing Works
On paid plans, view-only guests are free and unlimited. Permission-controlled guests can comment or edit selected content and use an included guest allowance tied to paid member seats.
- Unlimited: 5 guest seats for the first paid member, then 2 more per additional paid member
- Business and Enterprise: 10 guest seats for the first paid member, then 5 more per additional paid member
- Exceeding the allowance creates an additional paid member seat
- People using your organization’s email domain generally cannot be treated as external guests
ClickUp AI Pricing
Brain AI
$9 per member per month with annual billing or $14 with monthly billing. Includes 1,500 AI Super Credits per user each month.
Everything AI
$28 per member per month with annual billing or $33 with monthly billing. Includes broader agentic features and 5,000 AI Super Credits per user each month.
Additional AI credits
Extra AI Super Credits are publicly listed at $0.001 per credit and are sold in $10 increments. They are not included in the calculator total.

Yes. Free Forever supports unlimited members and tasks, but it includes only 60 MB of file storage and limits several advanced features and usage allowances.
Do ClickUp guests cost extra?
View-only guests are free and unlimited on paid plans. Permission-controlled guests use an included allowance. When that allowance is exceeded, ClickUp adds a paid member seat.
Does ClickUp AI cost extra?
