- The issue with user token authentication was fixed. The redirect logic was corrected to ensure users were properly redirected after authentication.
- The Related Tasks functionality was restored, allowing users to view and manage related tasks as before.
- The React Router architecture was modernized to align with current best practices and prepare the application for React Router v7+. Legacy routing logic, workarounds, and duplicated code were removed, reducing code complexity and improving maintainability. The routing structure was optimized to simplify future development and support.
- The UX/UI of editing existing comments was redesigned to prevent users from accidentally modifying a previously created comment when they intended to write a new one. The comment editor now appears directly in place of the comment being edited instead of redirecting users to the main comment input field at the bottom of the page. This made the editing process more intuitive and reduced the risk of accidental changes.
- A new visual design and the ability to display former employees were added. This ensured that historical data associated with employees remained accessible even after they left the organization, preventing the loss of related information.
- The Subtasks functionality was improved. Task creation and sorting logic were corrected to ensure more consistent and predictable behavior when adding and organizing subtasks.
- Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented users from navigating from another user’s page back to their own profile. Also resolved a bug that prevented users from being removed from a project.
- The application was migrated from the deprecated Create React App to Vite, replacing outdated build tools and eliminating the need for additional workarounds. This modernized the build infrastructure, simplified project maintenance and dependency updates, and provided a more reliable foundation for addressing security vulnerabilities.
The migration also established the foundation for further build optimizations, including bundle size reduction, code splitting, and lazy loading of heavy libraries. These improvements created opportunities to reduce the application’s initial loading time and accelerate the development process. - A new block was added to the right sidebar to display the project’s Spotfix connection status, allowing users to quickly check whether the project was successfully connected to Spotfix.
- Fixed a calendar navigation issue that caused an empty week to appear when switching between months and navigating back to a previous month.
- Performance optimizations were implemented across the Task page and Calendar. Unnecessary component re-renders and Redux subscriptions were reduced, data processing and grouping were optimized, and memoization and caching were improved. Event listener cleanup was corrected to prevent memory leaks. These changes reduced redundant computations and improved overall page responsiveness.
- Optimized project page performance to reduce excessive memory consumption and unnecessary re-renders. Improved filter handling, completed task loading, and infinite scrolling. Reduced redundant Redux subscriptions and data processing, and optimized task sorting and selector logic.
- Fixed an issue with sending personal @mention notifications when creating tasks through the Quick Task Creation window. Notifications are now correctly triggered for users mentioned in the comment added during task creation.
- The label and label group functionality was significantly enhanced. Support for multiple-choice label groups was added alongside the existing single-choice process groups. Label management was improved with merge and archive capabilities, last-used information, and group associations. The label assignment workflow was also refined to encourage users to organize labels through groups.
- Added customizable display settings for task elements in the general task list to reduce visual clutter. Users can now choose which elements to show or hide, including labels and label groups, assignees, date selection, comment counts and new comment indicators, and the task time-tracking button.
